Disk test

On the Disk tab, use the D-pad to pick the drive (app drive, HDD, USB 0 or USB 1) and the block size (64 KiB, 256 KiB or 1 MiB), then press A.

The test writes a 256 MiB file named FASTFTP360-DISKTEST.TMP, including the final flush. It then reads the file back without the cache, checks every byte, and deletes it. You need more than 256 MiB free. B cancels.

USB storage and a USB Ethernet adapter share the Xbox’s USB bandwidth. So FTP to a USB drive is much slower than FTP to the internal drive, even though both disks are fast on their own.
